TAVISTOCK WRITERS' GROUP

1.  To provide opportunity for writers with differing interests, backgrounds and experience to derive enjoyment, help and stimulus by meeting in discussion.

2.  To enable members to use the group as a sounding board for

Work in progress.

Work completed and to raise questions relative to such work.

3.  To enable members, in ways appropriate, to engage in constructive assessment of each other’s work.

4.  To introduce principles of writing and to discuss them as they become relevant.

5.  To exchange information about

Interesting and useful reading.

Markets and publishing outlets.

Literary competitions.

6.  To arrange for outside speakers and for workshops as appropriate and as requested by members.
